Five clicks of the power button turns the device on; three quick clicks opens settings, where the Power and TC-SS menus are the only two you'll need. Your device ships with the recommended settings already in place, though you should expect to tune them to your preference. The community-tested procedure: set 16–17W in power mode, load 10mg or less onto the mesh and melt it in, open the air inlet vents fully, then — starting with empty lungs — begin your inhale slightly before holding the fire button, so the mesh doesn't overheat. Loading more than 15mg? Add a few watts.

A vape pen usually needs 2–4 large hits to reach breakthrough, and a glass bulb pipe with freebase takes around 3 pulls — often with a helper. The e-mesh is designed to deliver a full breakthrough dose in a single hit, which matters because the window to get the whole dose in is short.
