Changa is a blanket term for a smokable blend of N,N-DMT infused onto an MAOI-containing herb such as Syrian rue or Banisteriopsis caapi. Ours uses caapi leaf - the same MAOI found in the ayahuasca brew - which extends the smoked DMT experience by roughly 10–30 minutes, depending on your metabolism, how you smoke it (bong or joint), and how many hits you take. The result is an experience Psychonauts describe as more gentle and coherent than the chaos freebase can bring.

You'll feel it within the first 20–30 seconds as a light buzz. Where a freebase experience might last 10 minutes, changa tends to run 15–30 - more coherent, with bright, vibrant open-eye visuals. At high doses, travel to other realms, entity contact, and out-of-body experiences are commonly reported; in The Spirit Molecule, Rick Strassman describes studies where roughly half of subjects met "intelligent beings" - the entities Terence McKenna famously called machine elves. The MAOI in the caapi leaf slows your body's breakdown of DMT, so the experience comes on more gently, feels more coherent, and lasts longer - think 15–30 minutes where freebase might give you 10.
